About me
Since 1994, I have conducted more than 1,500 mediations. My mediation practice focuses on resolving disputes in employment matters, educational settings, commercial conflicts, and family/domestic relations. I have developed ADR systems for various non-profit, for-profit, governmental and educational organizations. For almost 20 years, I was an assistant and associate dean at Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, CA. And, for 10 years, I was the executive director and senior mediator for the California Academy of Mediation Professionals in Encino, CA. I taught various ADR courses at Pepperdine Law from 1988 to 2016, at Atlanta's John Marshall School of Law from 2007-2016, and, since 2010, I have taught Family Mediation, Domestic Abuse, and other ADR courses at Lipscomb University in Nashville. I have a doctorate degree in organizational management from Pepperdine University, a master's degree in dispute resolution from Pepperdine University School of Law, and a master's degree in community counseling from Georgia State University.
